Livin Water Returns With New Single “Like I Never Left,” Opening a New Chapter in His Musical Journey

HOUSTON, TX — 10/01/2026 — Houston-based Christian artist Livin Water has released his new single, “Like I Never Left,” marking a continuation of his musical journey following Unfinished Business Chapters 1 and 2. Rooted in his Christian faith and personal experiences, the new track reflects on perseverance, purpose, and finding the strength to keep moving forward even when it feels as though there is nothing more to give.

After completing Unfinished Business Chapter 2, Livin Water believed he might have reached the end of what he wanted to accomplish musically. Instead, he found himself drawn back to creating. The realization that he still had more to offer, coupled with a desire to deepen his relationship with God, gave him a new perspective on his music and what it could mean to others.

The inspiration behind “Like I Never Left” comes from Livin Water's belief that reaching a perceived limit does not necessarily mean the journey is over. As long as there is life and an opportunity to use one's gifts, he believes there is a reason to continue. Even when the people around someone may not understand why they keep going, their perseverance could become a source of encouragement for someone watching from afar.

“I felt I had more to offer, and if I could push myself and really tap into my relationship with God, I could create something greater than I could have ever imagined,” said Livin Water.

That outlook provides the foundation for his next creative phase. Livin Water plans for “Like I Never Left” to be part of a full-length project titled *Headspace*. While the project is still planned rather than presented as a completed release, its concept is already deeply personal.

For Livin Water, Headspace represents the internal battlefield people experience while working through difficult periods of life. His music does not attempt to portray faith as an existence without hardship. Instead, he intends to address struggles, temptations, heartbreak, depression, uneasy feelings, desires, and other complicated moments with honesty.

That approach follows a principle he says has guided his previous albums: his music reflects where he is in life at the time he creates it. With Headspace, he plans to explore what it means to confront difficult thoughts and experiences, regain a sense of balance, and continue toward better moments.

“Life is just a bunch of moments we try to conquer,” Livin Water said. “There will be great moments and horrible moments. Hold on to the memories of those great moments to get through the not-so-great ones. Your moment will be right around the corner, so hold on and don't do anything permanent, for this moment is temporary.”

With “Like I Never Left,” Livin Water begins this next chapter with a message centered on persistence. The title captures the spirit of his return: after believing his musical journey might be finished, he is creating again with a renewed sense of purpose — and to him, it feels like he never left.
